What is CoolSculpting® Elite?

CoolSculpting® Elite is the #1 non-surgical fat reduction treatment in the US. This non-invasive, FDA-cleared treatment has been proven safe and effective for freezing and eliminating stubborn fat cells by up to 20-25% in the treatment area. The controlled cooling technology freezes and kills fat cells without harming surrounding cells or tissue. Following treatment, the frozen fat cells are eliminated over time by the body’s own natural processes. The fat cells are permanently eliminated from the body.

The new applicators are designed to complement the body’s natural curves for an improved fit and comfort during treatments. There is up to an 18% larger cooling area for a more effective treatment. One Elite treatment reduces up to 20-25% of fat cells in the treated area.

The dual applicators can treat more areas of stubborn fat in less time than traditional CoolSculpting. Elite can treat nine areas of the body: thigh, abdomen, and flank, along with bra fat, “love handles,” underneath the buttocks (banana roll), upper arm, and the double chin area.

How Coolsculpting Elite Works

The notion that cold can target fat cells—without damaging the skin or surrounding tissue—is the basis of cryolipolysis, the proven science on which the CoolSculpting procedure is based. The study began at Harvard University where researchers observed that some children who ate popsicles got dimples in their cheeks, which signified that the popsicles were freezing and eliminating small pockets of fat cells.
